Amid George Floyd’s death, the Black Lives Matter Movement took the world by storm. The question of “Is this Black-Owned?” marinated in the back of everyone's mind. The support for Black businesses became a social movement and Black business owners began to see more support from the Black community. This issue focuses on Black women entrepreneurs who started to pave their way into the spotlight during the pandemic.
