This up-and-coming artist is "Stacking Every Dollar to the ceiling" and entering the music scene with a story to tell.
SedTheDon was born and raised in Washington, D.C. While growing up in the Northeast area of the nation's capital, he was surrounded by crime and drugs.
"I had to adapt to my environment. I had to survive," he shared.
With his father serving a life sentence and his mother fighting a drug addiction, SedTheDon was forced to mature and grow up fast.
As a teenager, poetry and music became his refuge and escape from reality. Inspired by the DMV-based artist "Lightshow," SedTheDon said he was fascinated by the way he brought stories to life in his raps.
"I been through a lot. Just to make it from a place you know where you are told you are going to be dead at 18, or you will be locked up for the rest of your life, or you weren't born with the opportunities that others had, it's kind of an inspiration within itself," he added.
Upon reaching adulthood, he began to take rap seriously and started posting his music on social media platforms.

On a chilly night in Silver Spring, Md., SedTheDon hit the stage at Golf Lounge for Indie Fest. He enthralled the crowd with his flow, lyrics, and passion.
The performance propelled him to the top, securing his position as the winner of the contest.
"My mom had literally just went blind in one eye. But before I left from her she told me, 'show the world who you are'," he recalled the day of the show.
SedTheDon shared his joy in witnessing the crowd being moved by his music and experience, yet mentioned that this was just one step closer to achieving his goal.
In the beginning of February, he released his single "Peekaboo." On March 1, the emerging artist released the first rap of his "March Madness" series. His debut rap was dedicated to those battling addiction.
"When people hear the name Sed, it stands for Stack Every Dollar. It's more than a brand, it's a lifestyle what's minor to them is major to us."
